  1. Keep up the great work. Years ago I was a runner too. Have you noticed running is a lot like quilting…once you get started, you feel like a day without it is somehow not complete. I ran my first and only marathon to celebrate turning 50 (and to distract me from a lot of work and family stress) and I ran a 5 km race to prove I could still do it before I turned 61 in September/2017. Iโ€™m rooting for you.

    1. Thanks!! I ran 3 Half’s in the last two years but just couldn’t find motivation to run at all 2017…so I’m trying to ease back into it. I also want to lose 25lbs so the exercise will definitely help! Congrats on running a marathon!! I have the utmost respect for that, I know how I felt at the end of my halfs-no way I could go another 13!!

      1. Sure you could but why would you! Itโ€™s just as awe inspiring to run half marathons for sure. I also have a whack of weight to lose and here in Canada itโ€™s too cold and dark and dangerous to run in the winter. I will start again in April.

  2. If you can run a half marathon you can train and run a marathon…but why bother, training takes over your life for 6-8 months and risk of injury gets to be too great.
