Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much sewing going on this past week. I was hoping to get my Granny Cabin top finished and I had planned to finish the commissioned place mats as well…errrrgh! I did get the place mats to the sandwich stage and they’re ready for quilting

Fingers crossed I can knock these out early next week!!

In other news…ahem, the good news I was referring to in the title… after putting our other house on the market a week ago Friday, we have TWO offers!!! Woot Woot!!! Both are very competitive but one edges the other out with a 30 day closing instead of a 60 day contingency upon sale of their house.
Oh my gosh, I can’t explain how happy and relieved I am!! Thank you for all the good vibes…and keep them coming so we get through closing with no issues ๐

I went to my WW weigh in yesterday and I’m down 1.4 but that just puts me back to where I was three weeks ago ๐ฎ I really need to stop this roller coaster ride ๐ฆ
That’s all for now, I’ll keep it short n sweet…have a great rest of your weekend!!
Congrats on the offers — what a blessing!
Fabric for the placemats is awesome — I have the red/gold piece — did you purchase all from Hobby Lobby? If so I’ll have to get some.
I can’t remember if I used 11 x14 or 11 x 17 paper in my printer for the original pattern from Blu Print — I remembered having to pull out the tray for longer paper.

Thank you Karla! I didn’t purchase the fabric for the placemats, the customer sent it to me but I believe she got it at JoAnn. I couldn’t get the pattern pieces to print correctly so I ended up drawing it out on my own – I do not recommend it! LOL Good luck!

I agree after I printed it — it looks way to confusing — normally I love paper piecing!
