Not a whole lot of progress made on my friend’s mother’s quilt… I did get one row ripped off the length to use on the backing but that’s about it. The top was pieced using over-lock stitching so I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to get that row off but it took less than 10 minutes!

After that I had a squirrel moment and decided I *must* make some bowl cozies, LOL! I pulled out a layer cake of Alison Glass fabrics I’ve been saving (for what? who knows!) and made these beauties!

And just for more eye candy… look at these gorgeous fabrics I got from 5bucksayard.com last week when they had an end-of-bolt sale!! This is 10 yards of fabric for just over $45 😮

I’m hitting the road in a few hours heading to Atlanta… not for the World Series, no! For the Downton Abbey exhibit – squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Me & my friend Mary planned to go early last year when it was at the Biltmore in Asheville but sadly covid cancelled the exhibit. As soon as we heard it was reopening in Atlanta we made our plans! We’ll be back on Tues so it’s just a short trip but I’m looking forward to the get-a-way.

That’s about all for now… have a great rest of your weekend
